Privacy Policy

Chinese Herbs Directory (chineseherbs.directory) is a free directory of Chinese herb shops and a library of articles about Chinese herbs, operated by JY Concepts, New York, USA. It has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no tracking cookies.

What we collect

• Server logs and visit counts: our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to run and protect the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
• Email: if you email us (for example to add or correct a shop listing), we keep the message to reply and to make the change.

Cookies and advertising

We don’t set cookies and don’t currently show ads. If we start showing ads (we plan to use Google AdSense), we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are used.

Sharing

We don’t sell or rent personal information and don’t share it with advertisers. We share it only with the services that run the site (Cloudflare) or when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. This applies wherever you live, including under California and EU/UK privacy law. Shop owners can ask us to correct or remove their listing the same way.

Children

The site is meant for adults, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
